Summer break is in full swing! Whether you’re a college student home for break, a parent of a young child who needs some inspiration for fun activities, or a teacher, July is full of exciting events.

Activities for Kids

Trike Yard & Sandbox

At Glen Farmer’s trike yard, kids can drive farm-friendly trikes all summer long. The giant sandbox is tucked inside the trike yard, which is great for little kids with a sense of imagination.

Animals

Come visit our goats and chickens on the farm! Our 600 hens produce eggs for our farm store. Bring quarters so you and your little one can feed the chickens!

Workshops & Special Guests

Cider Hill Farm is always bustling with workshops. In July, bring your child to our several different events, including the following:

Activities for High Schoolers, College Students, and Teachers

Pick-Your-Own Fruit and Flowers

The month of July is when our peaches, raspberries, blackberries, and cherries are most ripe. Purchase your pick-your-own ticket and explore our beautiful orchards. You can also pick your own flowers, as our cutting garden opens in July.

Live Music

You can enjoy listening to live music on the farm’s main lawn every weekend during the summer. During our live music events, you can try our different guest food trucks and popular Pitchfork Truck while drinking our delicious sparkling cider. July’s schedule welcomes talented and local performers with a range of musical styles.

Pop-Up Events

Our farm is always filled with fun events for every age. Join the farm as we host The Cider Mash 5k on July 12 at 9:30 am. Run, jog, or walk the 5k and receive a fresh apple cider donut at the finish line. On July 25, award-winning cookie artist Renee Terry will teach a floral and blueberry-themed cookie decorating class, guiding guests on how to create edible art.

Make this a summer break you’ll never forget and head to Cider Hill Farm. While there’s always the chance to pick-your-own fruit here, we offer so many more fun activities to explore no matter your age!
