Below you’ll find answers to some of the most common questions about visiting the farm, our events, seasonal offerings, and what to expect throughout the year. If you don’t see the information you’re looking for, our team is always happy to help. Just reach out and we’ll do our best to point you in the right direction.

FARM GROUNDS​

Is parking free?

Parking is plentiful and free. On busy weekends, parking attendants are present making it easy for you to park safely and quickly. Please be mindful of our neighbors and do not park on private property. ADA parking spots are available closest to the crosswalk in the main parking lot.

When is the farm store open?

The farm store is open daily 8 am - 6 pm from late April 17 through mid December 13. Find produce, pies, cider donuts, grocery items, local goods and farmhouse gifts. We are closed Memorial Day and Thanksgiving Day. We close early at noon on the 4th of July.

Are there animals to visit? 

Our barnyard is open daily 8 am - 6 pm. We have 600 hens and 4 goats to visit that arrive mid-May when it's warm enough outside for the animals. Chicken feed is available for purchase int he farm store. Visit our bee hive observatory in the farm store as well! Can you spot the queen bee?

Is outside food permitted?

Outside food and non-alcoholic beverages are welcome. Please take any large rubbish items with you at the end of your stay. Eleanor's Lunch Box, available Monday - Friday 10 am to 2 pm offers packed lunch. Our food truck is open Saturdays - Sundays 11 am - 4 pm for lunch. We always have a variety of snacks and grocery items in our farm store 8 am - 6 pm. Guest food trucks visit throughout the season. We do not offer catering.

Do you accept credit cards?

We accept cash, credit, debit and apple pay. SNAP benefits are accepted in the Farm Store.

Are pets allowed? 

We do not allow pets on the farm. We LOVE LOVE LOVE our furry friends but as a working farm, MA state agriculture health regulations prohibit guests from bringing animals onto farm property with the exception of trained service animals.

Are there bathrooms?

Port-o-johns are are conveniently located along the main lawn behind the Farm Store. We always have an ADA accessible port-o-john available​​

HARD CIDER

​

When is the outdoor hard cider bar open? 

Hard cider on tap is available Saturdays 11 - 4 nearly every weekend late April - through late October along with free live music. Non-alcoholic cider is available. The cider bar is weather dependent with expanded hours in fall. Check our music calendar.

May we open bottles of cider on the farm that I purchase inside the Farm Store?

Our liquor license is such that only our own staff is permitted to pour our own alcohol. This is so trained persons are monitoring consumption levels. Please note signage throughout the farm and keep alcohol in permitted areas on the farm. Alcohol is not permitted in the orchards.

 

Do you offer cider tastings?

You'll find free hard cider tastings at nearly every festival and special events. â€‹â€‹

PICK-YOUR-OWN

How do I buy tickets for pick-your-own?

Purchase tickets ahead online here or when you arrive at the farm (except tulip tickets). Online tickets go live approx. 48-72 hours in advance as we monitor the weather, fields and orchards. The ticket booth is located just over the footbridge leading out to the orchards. If the booth is closed, visit the Farm Store for tickets.

Is pick-your-own only available on weekends and festivals?

No. When a crop is ready to be picked, picking is open 7 days a week! Always check ahead here before coming to the farm. P.S. picking on weekdays feels like a beautiful secret oasis.
​

When do hayrides run?

Hayrides run on festival dates and on fall Saturdays and Sundays from early September - mid-October weather pending. Free with the purchase of any picking container or $5/person ages 3+. When hayrides aren't running, all picking is within walking distance.

DONUTS

May I order cider donuts for pick-up?

We happily accept cider donut orders during the season. Donuts are $11/dozen with 10% off orders of 8 dozen or more. Order online now OR call the farm store during business hours 8 am - 6 pm @ 978-388-5525Orders may be picked up 8:30 am - 6 pm and are packed 2 dozen or 6 dozen per box. We do not offer donut displays or individually wrapped donuts.

What are the ingredients in your cider donuts?

Ingredients: enriched wheat flour, sugar, soybean oil, flour, apple cider, milk products, salt, egg, toasted wheat and spices. Contains: wheat, egg, soy and milk. No nut oils are used in the batter or for frying; however, the flour is produced in a facility where various types of peanuts, nuts and or tree nuts are used. We are not a nut free facility. We carry gluten free cider donuts made by a local company.

PRIVATE EVENTS

Do you host private events?

We do! Please visit our private events page. Complete the form and we will respond within 48 hours.

​

May I have a casual birthday party on the farm?

Please do! Gather friends and family on the farm for your celebration! Picnic tables are open to all guests so we ask that you set up on a maximum of 1-2 tables to keep space open for all farm visitors. We do not reserve picnic tables but with hundreds of parties on the farm each year, this system works great! Group pick-your-own containers are available birthday parties during blueberry and apple picking seasons. To register ahead, visit our birthday party page.

I want to book a group to come to the farm but don't need a private event.

BUSINESSES & NON-PROFITS

 

I am a photographer. May I host mini-sessions on the farm?

Yes! We welcome photographers to conduct client sessions on the farm. For 2026:

​

April 18 - May 31: Orchards are open 8:30 am - 2:30 pm on Saturdays & Sundays as part of our Free Spring Orchard Walk. Orchards are closed on weekdays and weekend afternoons as farmers conduct maintenance on the farm. No tickets required. Tickets are only required to enter the Tulip Field.

June 1 - October 31: Orchards are open 8:00 am - 5:30 pm. There isn't a business fee but ANYONE entering the fields and orchards must have proper picking tickets that the farm requires for entry. Anyone ages 3+ requires to be included in your ticket count. Purchase tickets online 48 hours in advance or upon arrival at the farm (except tulip cutting tickets). Pricing and ticket requirements vary per crop.

November 1 - December 13: Orchards are open 8:30 am - 2:30 pm on Saturdays & Sundays as part of our Free Fall Orchard Walk. Orchards are closed on weekdays and weekend afternoons as farmers conduct maintenance on the farm. No tickets required.

You are welcome to use the main lawn, barnyard, garden areas, picnic areas, trike yard and main lawn at no cost 8:00 am - 6:00 pm from opening day to closing day. Enjoy the farm and hope your sessions are wonderful!

How do I submit a donation request? 

Our donation request form opens April 1 each season and closes when we have reached our max capacity. We hope each donation made supported our beloved community as much as possible. And as reminder, all requests require 4 weeks notice; all submitted requests are reviewed carefully. If you have a pending request, you will receive a response within 4 weeks of submission.
