July is a magical month at Cider Hill Farm. The cherry trees are bursting with fruit, the flower fields are starting to bloom, and blueberry bushes are covered in berries. Plus, two summer festivals invite guests to experience the very best of summer on the farm.

From sweet and tart cherries to sun-ripened blueberries and cut-your-own bouquets, July is filled with opportunities to pick, sip, savor, and celebrate the season.

Cherry Festival | July 3

Our newest summer tradition arrives just in time for Independence Day weekend. Cherry Festival is a celebration of one of the farm's most fleeting harvests—and one of the most beloved.

Cherry season is famously short, making this festival a unique opportunity to experience pick-your-own sweet and tart cherries while they're at their peak. Guests can spend the day exploring the orchards, enjoying hayrides to the cherry fields, tasting local jams and ciders, and taking home fresh-picked fruit straight from the tree. The festival also features:

  • Pick-your-own sweet and tart cherries

  • Hayrides through the orchards

  • Free live music on the lawn

  • Hard Cider Bar featuring Cherry Harvest hard cider

  • Homemade cherry treats and seasonal specialties

  • Food trucks and farm-fresh fare

  • Family play areas, goats, chickens, and lawn games

Whether you're stocking up for homemade pies, preserving cherries for later in the year, or simply enjoying a day outdoors with family and friends, Cherry Festival offers a truly special taste of summer. Because cherry season depends entirely on weather and crop conditions, it arrives and disappears quickly. If cherries are on your summer bucket list, this is the weekend to visit.

Blueberry & Flower Festival | July 18–19 and July 25–26

Just as cherry season winds down, blueberry season takes center stage.

Over two festival weekends, guests are invited to wander blueberry fields, gather fresh berries, and create hand-cut bouquets from the farm's colorful flower garden. It's a quintessential New England summer experience—and one of the most photogenic events of the year.

The Blueberry & Flower Festival combines two beloved farm traditions into one unforgettable day.

Festival highlights include:

  • Pick-your-own blueberries

  • Cut-your-own flower bouquets

  • Hayrides around the farm

  • Free live music

  • Face painting and family activities

  • Local makers and artisan vendors

  • Hard cider tastings and seasonal slushies

  • Food trucks and farm favorites

With three blueberry fields and eleven blueberry varieties ripening throughout the season, there's plenty to discover. Guests can fill baskets with berries, stroll through the flower garden, and relax on the lawn while enjoying music, food, and cider.

The festival's popular Berry & Bloom packages make it easy for families and friends to enjoy both picking experiences during a single visit.
