Hard Cider & Non-Alcoholic Ciders

Cider Hill Cellars, owned and operated by the 3rd generation of the Cook family, is located on the farm. The first hard cider orchard was planted in 2012 and then in 2017 the cidery officially opened producing what is known as Orchard Cider. This is hard cider made only from our own fruit that is planted, grown, harvested and pressed here on our 145 acre farm. With 10,000 fruit trees on Cider Hill Farm, 1,000 of these are specifically used for the hard cider making process.

Hard Cider Blends

Cider Hill Cellar blends are available in the store daily when we are open mid-April through mid-December. MA State law cider sales are not allowed until 11 am on Sundays. Customers must be 21 or older, all minors on tours and tastings must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

Winter is a special cider variety known as a frost cider. Time consuming and labor intensive to make, we freeze fresh pressed cider and thaw it slowly to produce an intensely rich juice. By fermenting this carefully over many months, we create Winter. There are 20 apples inside this bottle. Winter is both intensely sweet and crisp with a depth of flavor that cannot be matched by any other cider and will improve for several years in the bottle. Winter is a dessert cider, super sweet with high residual sugar, still. 12.5% ABV.

There are 20 apples in this bottle, and it will improve with age for several years. 12.5% ABV. This frost cider is dessert.

This limited release frost cider takes a quarter pound of sour cherries and 20 apples to make each bottle. Time consuming and labor intensive, this carefully blended ice cider has a depth of flavor that only fresh picked cherries can provide. This is dessert in itself. 12.5% ABV.

"This cidery will only be as big as our orchards can support and our land can sustain. In a rare position to create cider that is truly orchard to bottle, we can oversee 100% of the production process. From planting, pruning, picking, pressing, to fermentation, every aspect of what we do is guided towards producing cider of the highest quality."

Non-Alcoholic Ciders

Pure farm happiness! Cider Hill Farm presses award-winning sweet cider that is also used in making our fan favorite cider donuts. Fresh sweet cider is available after Labor Day once we we begin pressing apples. The field crew, including Miti sen here, hand pick select apples all fall that are pressed and hand-bottled. Watch the crew press and bottle every Thursday in the fall! This cider is unpasterurized.

Made and bottled on the farm only using apples from our own orchards, this non-alcoholic sparkling sweet cider is a perfect addition to any table. This fan favorite cider smells and tastes like a crate of freshly picked apples. Find it in the refrigerator section in the farm store and on tap at the cider bar.
