AMESBURY, Mass. — Cider Hill Farm is proud to announce that it has been awarded
a Tourism Marketing Grant from the Massachusetts Office of Travel & Tourism (MOTT) to support the farm's new AI-Optimized Tourism Website Initiative.
The grant will help fund an essential website enhancement project designed to improve how travelers discover Cider Hill Farm through ever changing AI-powered search and trip-planning tools. As more visitors use conversational platforms and AI assistants to plan vacations, weekend getaways, and family outings, Cider Hill, with the generous help of MOTT and the North of Boston Convention & Visitors Bureau, is investing in the future of digital tourism.

The initiative will focus on strengthening tourism-focused website content, enhancing technical search optimization, implementing structured data for events and attractions, and creating visitor-friendly content that aligns with how travelers ask questions online.
"After attending multiple AI and tourism seminars this winter, it became clear that the way people discover destinations is changing rapidly," said Valerie Rosenberg, Program Director at Cider Hill Farm. "This grant allows us to proactively adapt our website so that future visitors can more easily find and experience everything our farm and the North of Boston region have to offer."
Cider Hill Farm welcomes thousands of visitors annually and serves as a gateway to the greater Amesbury area. By improving visibility in AI-generated travel recommendations, the project is expected to attract new audiences from across New England and beyond while supporting local restaurants, lodging establishments, retailers, and cultural attractions.
The initiative also reinforces Cider Hill's role as a leading agritourism destination in Massachusetts. Seasonal experiences including cherry picking, strawberry picking, flower cutting, live music, food truck events, hard cider tastings, and family-friendly festivals contribute to the cultural and creative identity of the region and provide memorable experiences for visitors throughout the year.
"We're grateful to the North of Boston Convention & Visitors Bureau and the Massachusetts Office of Travel & Tourism for recognizing the importance of innovation in tourism marketing," Jennifer Durocher, Farm General Manager & Co-Owner added. "This investment will help ensure that Cider Hill Farm and our neighboring businesses remain visible, accessible, and relevant to the next generation of locals and travelers."
