What is Small Business Saturday?
Small Business Saturday is a day to celebrate and support small businesses and everything they do for their communities. This year it takes place the Saturday after Thanksgiving on November 30, 2024. Founded by American Express in 2010, Small Business Saturday has become an integral part of small business success during the holiday shopping season. To take part, you can shop at local businesses like Cider Farm and others in the Amesbury area.
Small Business Saturday: Meet the Makers
November 30, 2024, is Cider Hill Farm’s annual Small Business Saturday: Meet the Makers. There will be 100+ locally sourced goods that include cheeses, candles, soaps, treats, sauces, butter, and maple and pet treats. From 8 am - 6 pm, you can enjoy the outdoor tree stand where you can pick out your trees and holiday greens in the upper courtyard. The farm store is open at the same hours and you can stock up on groceries, baked goods, hard cider, gingerbread kits, honey, farmhouse gifts, and even more for the winter. The Winter Wonderland photo op is from 8 am - 3 pm and the delicious hot cocoa bar is open from 10 am - 2 pm.
