Perfect timing! Just as the leaves are turning in the orchards, Food & Wine Magazine's fall travel section includes a guide to the best apple cider doughnuts in New England! Let us say how GRATEFUL we are to be listed among makers across the region who are so joyfully celebrating the season's harvest. When our beautiful farm community near and far shows us so much love AND a respected local restauranteur recognizes a good doughnut and destination worth traveling to, well then, we are just simply humbled.
"Kristin Jenkins, owner of 1928 Beacon Hill restaurant in Boston, is amazed how much there is to enjoy at Cider Hill Farm in Amesbury, from the housemade doughnuts and beautiful property to a farm shop and cellar full of estate-grown hard cider."
Cider Hill Farm makes cider donuts daily from opening day in late April to closing day in mid-December. The farm store is open 8 am - 6 pm. Closed Thanksgiving Day.
