We have some sweet news to share: Cider Hill Farm has been named the #1 destination for apple cider donuts in Massachusetts!
In its August 2026 roundup, Fun 107 set out to find the best apple cider donuts across the Commonwealth, looking at Google ratings, the number of reviews and what guests were actually saying about the donuts themselves. From 15 standout Massachusetts farms and orchards featured, Cider Hill Farm earned the top spot.
And in a state filled with truly wonderful family farms, orchards and generations of cider donut-making traditions, being named #1 in Massachusetts is something our entire farm team is incredibly proud of.
A Little Donut With a Long Farm Story
For us, a cider donut has never been just a donut.
It starts here on the farm, where thousands of apple trees are pruned and cared for throughout the year. As summer turns toward fall, those orchards begin producing the apples that make apple picking season—and fresh sweet cider—possible.
Then comes one of the best parts: walking into the Farm Store and catching that unmistakable smell of cider donuts being made.
Our bakery makes them fresh throughout the day, giving guests the chance to take home a bag or, better yet, enjoy one while it’s still warm. For generations of families, that simple tradition has become part of a trip to Cider Hill.

That’s what makes this recognition particularly meaningful.Massachusetts has an extraordinary agricultural community, and there is no shortage of farms making fantastic cider donuts. Fun 107 highlighted 15 destinations from across the state worthy of a fall road trip.
To be selected #1 among that field of beloved Massachusetts farms and orchards is an honor we don’t take lightly.
The publication noted that Cider Hill Farm has appeared on local “best of” lists again and again. This time, rather than relying on one person’s taste test, the roundup considered Google ratings, review volume and comments from the people who actually visit these farms.
In other words, our guests helped put us at #1.
