Children's Thursday Discovery Day Program
July 18, 2024 – August 29, 2024, 9:00 am - 9:45 AM EDT & 10:30 - 11:15 AM EDT
Cider Hill Farm offers weekly Thursday classes led by local educator, Janelle King. Young explorers and their adults have the opportunity to investigate crops and visit the farm's animals. Each week brings something an engaging, hands-on activity from building solar powered ovens to creating pressed flower pendants and homemade sun catchers. Participants get to have a farm snack.
Blueberry & Flower Festival
July 20-21, 2024 & July 27-28, 2024 l 8 am - 6 pm EDT
Calling all blueberry and flower lovers! Enjoy live music, hard cider, family-friendly activities, hayrides, tastings, blueberry goods, cut-your-own bouquets in the flower garden and pick-your-own blueberries in the farm fields. This annual festival is the idyllic New England experience.
Tuesday Morning Family Music Class with Miss Alicia

The power of music transcends generations. Join us at Cider Hill Farm on the lawn by Blueberry Field with your children for Tuesday Morning Family Music Class with Miss Alicia. Local instructor Alicia Catalano combines learning and play for ages six months up to nine years old. While instruments will be provided, bring a mat or blanket to sit on.
Peach & Sunflower Festival
August 10-11, 2024 & August 17-18, 2024 l 8 am - 6 pm EDT
This multi-weekend summer festival is brimming with pick-your-own! Pick over 25 varieties of blooms and sunflowers along with five orchards full of peaches. Enjoy family-friendly live music, hands-on activities, hard cider, food trucks and hayrides!

We invite children with their grown-ups to join our friends from the Amesbury Public Library each for stories inspired by farming and the season's harvest. This program is held under the picnic tent near the chickens. Event is rain or shine. RSVP to just stay informed if anything changes.
Free! Family Yoga with Relief Parenting

Join us for free family yoga at Cider Hill Farm across the street from the Farm Store. Childlight Yoga Certified Instructor and owner of Relief Parenting Resource and Respite Center Krista Maltais will teach skills about yoga to little children through play. Kids will learn about body awareness, improve social-emotional skills, increase their attention span, and bond with caregivers through songs, games, and imaginative stories. While this class is more suitable for ages three to six, all ages are welcome.
