About the Event
Do I need to purchase tickets in advance or may I just arrive at the farm to pick?
Pre-purchased tickets are required. While we offer walk-in tickets on the farm for all other crops, tulips are the only crop where online pre-purchased tickets are required. This provides the best possible experience for every guest while ensuring there are tulips for all.
How much are tickets?
All tickets are pre-purchase only. Ages 3+ require a ticket.
- Pick-your-own tulip ticket - $20 per dozen and allows tulip field entrance for up to 2 people
- Non-picking ticket - $5 per person for those that want to enter the field but don't want to pick
*Tickets not required to view the garden from outside the fenced field.
Please book your date/time carefully. Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable. Rain or shine unless we close the field per inclement weather. If you arrive a little early or a little late on the day of, that's ok! We understand life happens. Please be mindful this time slot is to keep your and other's picking experience magical.
How long will tulip picking last? Will more tickets become available?
Yes! Tulip picking will go through mid-May and we will post all tickets 48 hrs in advance as we monitor the field and forecast.
What if I couldn't get tickets? Why can't I purchase them now for future dates?
Truthfully, no matter how much we plan, Mother Nature ALWAYS wins. Our experienced farmers scour weather radars and monitor crops so carefully ensuring when we open tickets, the conditions are the best possible so you leave with gorgeous flowers. If the flowers aren't ready, they just aren't ready. Mother Nature is totally in charge.
Do I get to keep the tulips bulbs and how do I replant them?
Pulling the bulb with your tulip is highly encouraged to get a long stem for larger bouquets. You might try to replant the bulb with the stem and flower intact for the best chance of regrowth the following year (~70%). If you just plant the bulb, foliage is possible but flowers may be unlikely. Or just enjoy your blooms and visit the farm store in the fall for our annual bulb sale.
