Farm Tots: Plant Herb Pots
Yay spring! Join us for this 40-minute hands-on and safe distanced program that guides our wee farmers on a short, educational farm walk to a greenhouse and teaches them how to plant fresh herbs. Designed for children ages 3.5-8 but all welcome! Tickets required. See below for FAQs.

Are tickets required?
Pre-purchasing tickets required to help us plan for safe distancing, herb starters, materials and staff for the day's festivities. Siblings ages 2 and under who are not participating in the physical herb planting activity do not need tickets. All children must be accompanied by an adult. This is not a drop off program. Adults do not need tickets.Â
What does the ticket include?
Each ticket holder will have the chance to join the educational tour through a greenhouse. Plus, they will have the chance to plant their own fresh herb pot to bring home.
Do we need to bring anything?
Think green! Feel free to bring (but not required) a 6-9" upcycled container for your herb pots! Upcycled container ideas may include a large plastic soda bottle, cardboard or plastic milk carton, tin cans, old tea kettles or a standard pot you already have. This really helps us share message with our little ones to use more and waste less.Â
Are masks required?
Cider Hill Farm follows all MA state and MDAR guidelines. Your help can keep our farm team, facilities, fields, orchards and community safe.
