Fall FAQs & Apple Picking Information

We can't wait to see you on the farm to celebrate autumn in New England! The orchards are filling up with beautiful apples - a true sign that the bounties from the year's work is here! Here's what's happening:

Farm Store

Open daily 8 am - 6 pm. Produce, pies, cider donuts, grocery items, local goods and farmhouse gifts. Plus, Saturday and Sunday, find your fall must haves at the Outdoor Market located next to the Farm Store.

Pick-Your-Own Apples

Open daily 8 am - 5 pm. Purchase tickets ahead here or when you arrive at the farm. Tickets go live approx. 72 hours in advance as we monitor weather and orchards. Check-in is located at the Info Booth. If the Booth is closed, check-in is inside the Farm Store. Apple picking is scheduled now through Columbus Day. Apple varities for your visit will be listed on the pick-your-own page. Subject to change.

Apple Picking

We do not have an entrance fee and parking is free. Access to the farm store, barnyard, main lawn and plays areas is free. Each person ages 3+ is required to have a ticket to enter the orchards.

• 1/2 peck - $12. Up to 2 people ~10 apples
• 1 peck - $24. Up to 4 people ~24 apples
• 1/2 bushel - $40. Up to 6 people ~50 apples

Hayrides

Saturday & Sundays 9 am - 3 pm. All pick-your-own orchards are within walking distance. (3-10 minutes.) Hayrides run Saturdays and Sundays September 10 - Columbus Day weekend. Free with the purchase of any picking container. ADA access available. Please call the farm store for details.

Outdoor Market

Open air shopping option. Located in the Upper Courtyard, grab bags of apples, donuts, jugs of sweet cider, bottles of hard cider, maple, honey, jams n' jellies, pumpkin whoopie pies & more! Open Saturdays and Sundays 10 am - 5 pm beginning September 10th.

Pumpkins & Mums

Grab your farmhouse gourds, assorted mums, hay bales, corn husks and scarecrows for your fall decor!

Hard Cider Bar & Free Live Music

Visit the Outdoor Hard Cider Bar on the main lawn Fridays 2:30 - 5:30 pm, Saturdays 11 - 4 & Sundays 12 - 4 for 100% orchard cider by the glass every weekend in September through late October. Non-alcoholic cider available. Catch free live music Fridays 2:30 -5:30 pm and 12-3 pm on Saturdays and Sundays. About Cider Hill Cellars >

Food Truck

Wednesdays - Sundays 11 am - 4 pm. The PitchFORK is serving up family friendly bites to keep you nourished for playing and carrying bags of apples. See the menu >

Cider Donuts & Apple Cider

Pure farm joy! What's a visit without the perfect quintessential pairing? Donuts and jugs of cider are available daily in the Farm Store. Find hot apple cider by the glass Wednesday - Sunday 11 am - 4 pm at the food truck. Hot cider, cider slushies and cider donuts are available at the Drink Stand on the main lawn on Saturdays and Sundays 9 am - 4 pm.

Barnyard & Trikes

Stay n' play. Feed the chickens (quarters required), visit with the goats, play in Farm Glenn's Trike Yard, climb in the giant sandbox and swing on horse-tire swings!

Photo Wagon

The tradition continues! Continue or start your annual tradition of taking family photos in front of the pumpkin wagon brimming with autumnal gourds, pumpkins and mums!

Pets

Please leave pets at home. While we LOVE our furry friends, too, pets are not permitted on farm property per regulations set by the State's Health Department.​

Birthday Parties & School Tours

Feel free! While we don't offer formal packages, please enjoy the farm for your celebration or outing. Feel free to reserve children's picking bags or pre-purchase family-size bags approx. 72 hrs in advance as tickets become live. Option to pre-order cider donuts for pick up in the farm store is nice but not necessary. We are donut making machines every single day all fall!
