8/5 Discovery Day - Blueberry Week! Build a Berry Birdfeeder
This 50-minute hands-on class is led by educator, Janelle King. In this session, explorers will learn about the different parts of a blueberry plant and its lifecycle. They will then create a bird feeder using blueberries! Registration required. FAQs follow.

What age range is this program?
Designed for children ages 3.5-8 but all welcome!
What is the cost?
$12 per child. It includes an interactive guided farm experience and hands-on activity. Plus, a light farm snack of a fresh veggie will be served. Adults, please do NOT register yourselves - just your kiddos!
What does this include?
Participants will go on a farm exploration and then have the opporunity to create something special to bring home each week.
Is pre-registration required?
Yes. There is limited space and each child needs a ticket. Siblings ages 2 and under who are not participating in the physical hands-on activity do not need to be registered. Children must be accompanied by an adult. This is not a drop off program and adults are strongly encouraged to participate alongside your young explorers. We won't be able to accept drop in visitors.
Where is the class located?
The meet up location is in front of the information booth. Class will start and end under the white picnic tent after explorers visit different parts of the farm.
How long will this program run?
This series is scheduled to run for 10 weeks beginning June 17 - August 19 with future dates posted in advance. Each week will have a different topic. Weekly registration required.
Refund policy
We accept refundable cancellations 48 hours in advance so we may open slots to others. Missed classes are non-refundable/non-transferable.
