Festival & Cherry Picking FAQs
As we prepare for this year’s harvest, here are some of the questions we’re asked most often.
IS IT RIPE?
Ideally, you want to pick the ripest fruit on the tree. Cherries do not ripen after they have been picked.

PICKING LOCATIONS
We have 1 main sweet cherry orchard and 1 main tart cherry orchard. Both will be open at the same time so you can pick some of each. Think of it as a cherry adventure - unique varieties with their own best uses.

Weekday CHERRY PICKing?
It works similarly to weekend options where tickets become available as we monitor the fruit and weather. The best way to see is to visit our TODAY page on Sunday evenings where we'll post the upcoming week's availability and online tickets.

CHERRY SEASON LENGTH
Cherry season is relatively short. Picking opens and closes in early July. We have young trees still so each year, we expect that cherry picking will go from 1 week long to 2 weeks as the trees mature and put out more fruit.
