About the Event

Bring your little farmers by on Saturday to meet Evan, this season's counselor. Meeting the counselor is a great way to decide if the Discovery Program is right for your kiddo. It's also just a really good way to make sure that your camper feels right at home and ready to explore the first minute camp begins.

About the Program

Fun filled farming adventures for children 6 -10 years! This 5-day structured session allows for hands-on exploration of all things farming. Your kiddos will be inspired by natural elements around Cider Hill Farm to create, discover and play! Each session introduces children to the farm through adventure, harvesting and arts. Each day your camper will be guided through a themed series of activities that allow them to experience the outdoors in a fun and thoughtful way.

About Your Counselor

Cider Hill Farm's Discovery Camp is led by an energetic, talented, engaging educator that will make your child’s camp experience exciting and fun! Meet Evan! Evan Coffey is a seasoned educator whose career spans upwards of fifteen years, and has taught at Oyster River High School, and Cocheco Academy of the Arts. He is currently the seventh grade language arts teacher at Somersworth Middle School, and is excited to ascend to the school's eighth grade math teacher position next fall. His engaging and comedic style inspires students of all ages to participate with enthusiasm in whatever the lesson may be, from math to language arts to drama. Evan is a graduate of Marymount Manhattan College in New York City. He lives locally in New Hampshire, where he was born and raised, along with his wife, Ana, and their son. When Evan is not in the classroom, he is concocting delicious meals for his family, playing with Olive the dog, improving his home, and eating apple pie whenever possible. Evan is an avid fan of the outdoors and all there is to learn from it. He loves his garden, camping trips and any excuse to get out in the sun.
