FAQS

Do I need to purchase tickets in advance or may I just arrive at the farm to pick?

Pre-purchased tickets are required. While we offer walk-in tickets on the farm for all other crops, tulips are the only crop where online pre-purchased tickets are required. This provides the best possible experience for every guest while ensuring  there are tulips for all.

How do I purchase tickets?

When you do book, select your date carefully. Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable. Rain or shine unless we close the field per inclement weather. Ticket time options allow for a flexible 2 hour windows of picking.

How much are pick-your-own tulip tickets?

All tickets are pre-purchase only. Ages 3+ require a ticket.

- Pick-your-own tulip ticket - $20 per dozen and allows tulip field entrance for up to 2 people

 - Non-picking ticket - $5 per person for those that want to enter the field but don't want to pick

*Tickets are not required to enjoy the rest of the festival happenings or to view the garden from outside the fenced field.

How long will tulip picking last?

Depending on spring and field conditions, we anticipate tulip picking will end mid-May.

Do I get to keep the tulips bulbs and how do I replant them?

Pulling the bulb with your tulip is highly encouraged to get a long stem for larger bouquets. You might try to replant the bulb with the stem and flower intact for the best chance of regrowth the following year (~70%). If you just plant the bulb, foliage is possible but flowers may be unlikely. Or just enjoy your blooms and visit the farm store in the fall for our annual bulb sale.

May I book a mini-session in the tulip field?

For those who wish to capture images of spring blooms for personal or business uses, you may use the spaces surrounding the garden at no cost. Decorative flower beds will also have beautiful varieties of tulips to enjoy at no cost. For those that wish to enter the field even for just photos, tickets are required. The non-picking $5/person ticket is a great option. If you are looking for a private experience, we encourage you to come at the end of the day closer to 3-4 pm when fewer people are in the field. Field closes at 5 pm.
