Birthday & Group Outings

Frequently Asked Party Questions

May I reserve tables at the farm for my birthday party?

We do have a large event tent with many picnic tables. You are more than welcome to set your party up on 1-2 picnic tables; however, this space is also open to all farm guests. We do not offer any private or reserved space for birthday parties.

May I bring outside food/beverage? (i.e. cake and pizza)

We do allow outside food and non-alcoholic beverages on our farm. We do ask that any large amounts of garbage - pizza boxes, cake boxes etc- is brought with you when you leave. We do not allow ANY outside alcoholic beverages to be consumed on our property. We are unable to offer refrigeration or storage on the property so please plan accordingly.

What if my party size changes?

We've gone ahead and made it easy! Book your apple picking experience here with a simple range of guest attendance. We will have additional picking bags available at our information shed so you can just show up and know that your group is ready to pick even if you have more or fewer partiers than expected! Payment will be required at the time of receiving your bags.

Who is my point of contact?

We keep things simple and easy and do not allocate any staff members to your party. When you arrive for your party, simply check into the information booth. Your picking bags will be waiting! As always, our staff are available to answer any questions if needed. Enjoy the farm and your festivities!

Does Cider Hill Farm offer birthday parties?

We LOVE that you want to spend this special day with us! While we don't offer formal birthday party packages, we do offer apple picking experiences for your group. To book your experience, click here.

Are hayrides included?

We run hayrides on Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. for all apple pickers! Based on the volume of farm guests we have on weekends, we are unable to block off single rides for groups. However, get your group together in line and our hayride team will work hard to keep you all together. Happy picking!
